Using the Colour Emulator on a Mono monitor.
Before you can use the emulator you need to create a boot disk.
1) Format a disk in drive A as normal and when it has finished double
click on the floppy disk icon A. Label it Colour emulator.
2) Go to the FILE menu on the desktop pull down menu and select the
NEW FOLDER option.
3) Type in AUTO as the file name and click on OK.
4) Copy the file GFACOLOR.PRG across from the cover disk into the AUTO
folder.
5) If you normally have any desktop accessories installed then copy
them across to the boot disk as well, but leave them in the root
directory (the directory that you get when you double click on drive
A.
6) When you want to use the colour emulator just switch on your ST
with the colour emulator disk in the drive and follow the on screen
instructions.
